Prepare larger product images for your storefront
Choose source images and check transparent backgrounds for product pages.
Start with the original
Prefer camera originals or fresh exports from design files over repeatedly compressed copies. Check packaging text, edges, and colors before resizing. Basic scaling cannot repair poor focus or unreadable labels.
Inspect the output
Choose a resolution that meets your storefront’s image requirements. Check image edges against light and dark backgrounds, and inspect textures and text at 100% zoom. Larger files can slow pages, so balance display dimensions against loading speed.
Check your marketplace’s rules first
Marketplaces set their own requirements for main image size, aspect ratio and file size, and they change over time, so follow the current rules for yours. Images uploaded to aiimage4k must have an aspect ratio between 1:3 and 3:1. If your marketplace needs square main images, upscale first and then crop consistently in your design tool so no product detail is cut off.
Transparent and white backgrounds
AI editing may change transparent areas. For PNG cut-outs, place the download on both white and dark backgrounds and look for soft outlines or leftover fringing. If your marketplace requires a pure white background, place the result on white in your design tool and export again.
Keep a product line consistent
Images are processed one at a time. Test resolution and quality with the most representative image in a series first, then process the rest at the same resolution so your product pages look equally sharp.
