How to upscale an image: upload, process and check the result
Follow the upload and review workflow: check your source, choose an output tier, verify actual dimensions and inspect text and detail before downloading.
Step 1: keep the original and check the file
Save an untouched copy and inspect the subject, text and compression artifacts at 100%. Choose a static JPG, PNG or WebP up to 10 MB, with an aspect ratio from 1:3 to 3:1. Use the original file rather than a screenshot when available.
Step 2: upload and verify the input
Select an image in the tool and wait for upload to finish. Check the original dimensions and confirm the preview is the right file. Bundled examples may show illustrative effects before processing; actual case studies label their source and output separately. An illustrative preview is not the result of your upload.
Step 3: choose a tier and start processing
Choose 2K or 4K for your intended screen or layout. These tiers set requested dimension bounds; they do not multiply each side by two or four. 4K is experimental. Keep the page open while processing. Failed processing does not spend credits.
Step 4: inspect the actual output
Check the file dimensions, then compare text, logos, faces, hands and repeating textures at 100%. For product photos, check packaging information and colors. For artwork, check lines and signatures. Inspect transparency on both dark and light backgrounds. More pixels do not mean every detail was preserved.
Step 5: download and keep both versions
Keep the source and output so you can compare them later, and avoid repeatedly upscaling a generated result. Files created while signed in can be downloaded from your account for 24 hours; expired results require processing again. If the output is unsuitable, try a better source or reconsider the intended use before generating again.
